Dr Rooney is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in reconstruction of the adult lower limb. He is an Australian pioneer in minimally invasive computer navigated, anterior total hip replacement surgery.
Dr Macgroarty is a specialist knee and shoulder orthopaedic surgeon. He is focused on the management of complex knee and shoulder injuries in both professional and amateur athletes.
The Fellowship is an integral part of the Orthopaedic Unit of the University of Melbourne (Western Health). The Fellowship is principally concerned with the teaching of orthopaedic aspects of shoulder and elbow surgery.
The Fellowship offers specialised training in all aspects of hip and knee arthroplasty surgery including primary arthroplasty surgery, revision arthroplasty surgery, navigated surgery and arthroscopy.
