This Fellowship will provide extensive training to recent orthopaedic graduates in the diagnosis and management of hip and knee arthroplasty, arthroscopy and the specialised osseointegration for above knee amputees.
The Fellow will assist in AMIS (Anterior Minimally Invasive Surgery) for Total Hip Arthroplasty and Conventional and Patient Matched Instrumentation for Total Knee Arthroplasty.
The Fellowship is focused on hip and knee arthroplasty surgery and revision surgery. It will also involve hip, knee and shoulder arthroscopy and knee reconstruction.
Mr Fick’s sub-disciplines of orthopaedics including computer navigated trauma and joint replacements as well as arthroscopic procedures of the hip, shoulder and knee.
Dr O’Sullivan’s particular interest is in hip replacement including primary replacement, both conventional and resurfacing replacements, focusing on revision hip replacement.
Mr Tham specialises in hand and risk surgery at St Vincent’s Public Hospital in Melbourne and as a Senior Hand Surgery Consultant at Dandenong Hospital in Victoria, while maintaining a busy private practice.
The Fellowship offers experience in joint replacement, joint revision and musculoskeletal tumour surgery. The Fellow will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary musculoskeletal oncology team concerned with limb salvage.
The Fellowship focuses on the Fellow obtaining a broad knowledge of all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. The Fellow will experience elective and trauma foot and ankle surgery and become competent performing such surgery.
Professor Crawford deals only with pathology of the hip and knees. Much of his practice is dedicated to primary hip and knee replacement and knee arthroscopy surgery.
