Dr Turnbull’s specialty areas are lower limb, sports injuries and arthritis. He is experienced in the latest innovative procedures such as minimally invasive hip replacement.
This Fellowship is focused on orthopaedic surgeons wishing to gain experience in hip and knee arthroplasty, reconstructive and arthroscopic knee surgery, hip arthroscopy. There will be both a clinical and research component to the Fellowship.
Professor Warwick Bruce is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in hip and knee surgery. His special interests include minimally invasive hip and knee surgery and computer assisted surgery.
This is a pure research Fellowship to work with our Research Committee on a number of ongoing studies. The Fellowship is deigned to develop the academic career of a highly motivated individual though multidisciplinary orthopaedic research on multiple research projects.
Mr Young’s special interests are sports medicine and arthritis surgery. He has a research interest in knee ligament injuries, patellar instability problems and the management of stress fractures in athletes.
Dr Rooney is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in reconstruction of the adult lower limb. He is an Australian pioneer in minimally invasive computer navigated, anterior total hip replacement surgery.
Dr Hazratwala specialises in lower limb and trauma with special interests in adult total hip and knee replacements and adult revision (previously failed or painful) hip and knee replacements.
