This Fellowship is to provide orthopaedic research and the opportunity to gain experience with diseases of the knee and joint arthroplasty in the sports medicine environment.
Mr O’Sullivan has particular interests in the management of acute knee injuries including ACL reconstruction, the management of meniscal injuries and patellar realignment surgery.
Dr Grujic specialises in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery including foot and ankle trauma, arthroscopic surgery, sports injuries and reconstructive surgery.
Dr Albietz exclusively consults and operates on all spinal conditions affecting the neck and lower back from disc prolapses causing sciatica to complex scoliosis or spinal tumour surgery in both adults and children.
Associate Professor Labrom has a special interest in scoliosis surgery in both children and adults. He treats all types of scoliosis and other paediatric spinal conditions with both non-operative and surgical methods.
This Fellowship is aimed at orthopaedic surgeons wishing to gain post Fellowship training in hip and knee arthroplasty techniques and approaches, with exposure to revision surgery.
The Fellowship is principally concerned with the teaching of orthopaedic aspects of shoulder and elbow surgery. Experience in this area includes joint replacement, arthroplasty and all types of arthroscopic surgery.
Dr Solomon specialises in hip and knee surgery with interest in arthritis surgery of the hip and knee, arthroscopic knee surgery and joint preserving hip surgery to help prevent the development of hip arthritis.
Dr Khoo’s subspecialty training includes arthroscopy and arthroplasty; joint replacement of the shoulder, hip and knee; shoulder arthroscopy, hip arthroscopy and knee arthroscopy.
Associate Professor Mercer is the Head of the Orthopaedic Department at the Repatriation General Hospital in Adelaide. He oversees and provides support of all clinical trials conducted within the Department.
