Mr Wilde has expertise in all areas of the spine including cervical, thoracic and lumbar regions. He regularly performs minimally invasive spine surgery, which is appropriate for some lumbar spinal problems.
Dr Journeaux’s major orthopaedic elective interest is in lower limb joint replacement including hip and knee arthroplasty with a special interest in revision hip surgery.
This Fellowship will provide extensive training to recent orthopaedic graduates in the diagnosis and management of hip and knee arthroplasty, arthroscopy and the specialised osseointegration for above knee amputees.
Dr Simon Gatehouse is a Brisbane-based surgeon specialising in adult and paediatric spinal surgery. He is directly involved in Australian registrar training and the training of international spinal surgeons.
Dr Wilkinson’s interests include joint replacement and sports injuries of hip, knee and upper limb with particular focus on arthroscopy, joint preservation procedures and joint replacement surgery.
The Fellow will have a keen interest to further their clinical knowledge and practical skills. It is predominantly a hip and knee private practice experience with a public hospital affiliation.
Dr Liu specialises in hip and knee surgery with a particular interest in reconstruction of the sports injured knee, surgical treatment of hip and knee arthritis and computer navigated knee replacement surgery.
This Fellowship is to provide orthopaedic research and the opportunity to gain experience with diseases of the knee and joint arthroplasty in the sports medicine environment.
Dr Khoo’s subspecialty training includes arthroscopy and arthroplasty; joint replacement of the shoulder, hip and knee; shoulder arthroscopy, hip arthroscopy and knee arthroscopy.
Dr Hazratwala specialises in lower limb and trauma with special interests in adult total hip and knee replacements and adult revision (previously failed or painful) hip and knee replacements.
