This Fellowship is designed to educate the Fellow in all aspects of orthopaedic oncology including pathology, surgery, radiology and understanding of adjuvant therapies. The Fellow is expected to have completed his advanced orthopaedic training.
The Fellowship is designed for surgeons who have completed their training and are seeking further subspecialty training in hip and knee arthroplasty, reconstructive and arthroscopic knee surgery and hip arthroscopy.
The Spinal Fellowship focuses on trauma, infection, neoplasia and degenerative disorders and is sponsored via The Wesley Research Fund.
The Fellow will have a keen interest to further their clinical knowledge and practical skills. It is predominantly a hip and knee private practice experience with a public hospital affiliation.
The major focus of the Fellowship is to train in arthroscopic reconstruction techniques involving minimally invasive surgery of the hip.
Fellows will be exposed to both hip and knee arthroplasty, primary and revision and ligament/soft tissue reconstructions of the knee.
