The Fellowship encompasses all aspects of clinical involvement in foot and ankle management in a busy 14-member group practice. It includes assessment of new patients, surgical treatment at assistant level, post-operative care and rehabilitation.
Fellows will be exposed to both hip and knee arthroplasty, primary and revision and ligament/soft tissue reconstructions of the knee.
The major focus of the Fellowship is to train in arthroscopic reconstruction techniques involving minimally invasive surgery of the hip.
The Fellowship encompasses learning the direct anterior approach to the hip; assessing patients before surgery for suitability for this procedure; following them through rehabilitation; undertaking outcomes research; and observing a variety of hip arthroscopic procedures.
The Spinal Fellowship focuses on trauma, infection, neoplasia and degenerative disorders and is sponsored via The Wesley Research Fund.
This Fellowship involves arthroscopic surgery of the hip and knee, reconstructive surgery of the knee, total knee and total hip replacement and revision surgery.
