Orthopaedic Fellowship Information
This Fellowship will provide extensive training to recent orthopaedic graduates in the diagnosis and management of hip and knee arthroplasty, arthroscopy and the specialised osseointegration for above knee amputees.

The Fellow will have the opportunity to be directly involved in the initial assessment of these disorders as well as their management, both surgical and non-surgical and the ongoing care of these patients. This experience will take place in a supervised environment to optimise the potential for learning.

Overall the goal of the post graduate training is to produce a surgeon who is proficient in the diagnosis, management and ongoing care of all disorders that may present to an orthopaedic surgeon with a sub specialty practice lower limb arthroplasty, arthroscopy and trauma. In addition, the aim is to instil enthusiasm for research and the enhancement and proliferation of knowledge in orthopaedics.

Minimum Requirements

Medical degree recognised by the Medical Board of Australia • Previous experience in Orthopaedic treatment of conditions, surgery, joint replacements, treatment and management of arthritis conditions
