Dr Wines specialises in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle in adults and children. His research interests include minimally invasive bunion surgery, pain relief after forefoot surgery.
He graduated from The University of Sydney in 1994 and completed his advanced training in orthopaedic surgery through the Australian Orthopaedic Association in 2002. Dr Wines undertook subspecialty training in foot and ankle surgery in Dublin, Bristol and Oxford in the UK.
Dr Wines is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He completed further Fellowships in paediatric and adult foot and ankle surgery in Dublin, Bristol and Oxford. He is a member of the Australian, American and European Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
He commenced practice in 2003 and has consultant appointments to North Shore Private Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, Mater Private Hospital and Castlecrag Private Hospital.
