Dr Witherow specialises in adult lower limb orthopaedics having obtained his orthopaedic Fellowship in 1990.
He undertook a further Fellowship in sports medicine and arthroplasty with Dr Mervyn Cross and Associate Professor Leo Pinczewski at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre.
In 1992, Dr Witherow travelled to the UK to complete a Fellowship in arthroplasty at the National Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham and he now consults in West Perth.
