Dr Burrow’s specialises in shoulder and knee surgery with an interest in arthroscopic surgery for sporting injuries, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears, knee ligament injuries and surgery for shoulder and knee arthritis.
He graduated from The University of Sydney Medical School and completed an internship and residency at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. As part of his medical school training, Dr Burrow’s was sponsored by the Royal Australian Navy and began service in 1990 including six months at sea with fleet units deployed in South East Asia.
Dr Burrow obtained his Fellowship in orthopaedics in 1996 and during this period, he completed a Fellowship in knee surgery with Dr David Wood at The Centre.
He began full-time private practice in November 1999 and returned to the Navy to complete his service obligation. Dr Burrow subsequently completed Fellowships in shoulder surgery both locally with Dr Des Bokor at the Western Sydney Orthopaedic Associates and in the UK at Epsom and Guildford Hospitals in Surrey.
